The Neodymium Magnets are the strongest type of permanent magnets, more powerful of the traditional magnets: their strength of magnetic attraction is up to 10 times superior to that of the traditional ferrite magnets (AlNiCo and SmCo).
- Neodymium Magnets are a type of rare-earth magnet, made from an alloy of neodymium, metal of the rare-earths iron and boron to form the Nd2Fe14B and their magnetization it is practically boundless.
- The Neodymium Magnets have high mechanical resistance and they are furnished with a covering of protection against the oxidation (normally zinc or nickel).
- Magnets of small dimensions and weight they have an high magnetic strength: they are found in all kinds of domestic and professional electromechanical and electronic devices where a least encumbrance is necessary: electric motors, automotives, computers, telephones, medical equipment, music systems, timer switches, speaker etc
- Their highest temperature of exercise is of 80°C but some special types can also work up to 180°C without losing their characteristics.
